- first-generation college student and the eldest of my siblings.
- originally from Texas and really miss the panaderias from there!
- completing my Associate of Science in Teacher Preparation in order to become a biology teacher for 9th and 10th grade. I will need to complete a bachelor of science and my license before I can begin my dream job.
- currently working full-time for a nonprofit that helps folks across NC have access to food
- an artist who specializes in painting. I am also interested in creating flower arrangements and ceramics.
As President, I want to...
- host more opportunities for folks to get to meet and learn more about their Student Representatives
- start a monthly newsletter that is distributed to all students
- work more closely with the DEI Council and learn more about how to make our campuses more diverse, equitable, and inclusive for all
- work with the wellness center to push for more self-care resources for students
- host a picnic mixer at the beginning of the semester to give students a chance to network
